A historic Ottoman bathhouse serving Istanbul for over 375 years
The Historic Arabacılar Hammam was erected in 1650 in the Ayvansaray neighborhood of Fatih, Istanbul. Built by Fatma Hanım, daughter of Karahasanoğlu Mustafa Pasha, this architectural jewel stands as one of the finest authentic examples of classic Ottoman hammam architecture.
Located beside the Hacı İlyas Yatağan Mosque, our bathhouse preserves its grandiose domed cooling lounge, four-iwan hot room, central heated marble platform (göbek taşı), and natural sun-filtering skylights.
With completely independent quarters and private entrances for men and women, we blend centuries-old bathing rituals with modern hygiene and premium care.
